Two daring producers, operating out of their Sunset Boulevard offices, set out to create a live-action version of *Bambi*. We gradually follow the various stages of the production—complete with technical mishaps that end up affecting the story’s emotional core. With a style inspired by amateur filmmaking and a deliberately shoddy aesthetic, the film leans into improvisational comedy and the absurd; its humorous dialogue and situations reveal a boundless talent for biting social commentary, all without the slightest intent to moralize.
